The new Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 are here!
Samsung has officially unveiled its mid-range smartphone contenders for 2026, the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G. These new devices bring flagship-level display brightness, enhanced processing power, and upgraded durability to the Philippine market.

Display and Design Enhancements
Both the Galaxy A57 and A37 feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ Infinity-O display with a 120Hz refresh rate. They introduce a significantly brighter viewing experience powered by an Enhanced Vision Booster, reaching up to 1900 nits of peak brightness for clear outdoor visibility.

The Galaxy A57 utilizes an upgraded Super AMOLED+ panel and achieves a more immersive screen-to-body ratio thanks to drastically slimmer bezels measuring just 1.5mm on the top and sides. Both phones now boast an IP68 rating for adventure-ready water and dust resistance, alongside Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on the front and rear panels. The A57 maintains a premium feel with a metal side frame, while the A37 utilizes a plastic frame.
Processing Power and Cooling
The Galaxy A57 is powered by the new 4nm Exynos 1680 octa-core processor, which delivers a 42 percent boost in NPU performance and a 75 percent increase in memory speed compared to its predecessor.
The Galaxy A37 relies on the 4nm Exynos 1480 chip, bringing a massive 167 percent NPU upgrade for improved AI capabilities.

To sustain heavy workloads and gaming, Samsung equipped both models with an advanced cooling system featuring a 13 percent larger vapor chamber. Connectivity also sees a notable bump, with the Galaxy A57 exclusively gaining support for Wi-Fi 6E to ensure stable performance on less crowded 6 GHz networks. Additionally, both devices secure user data through the EAL5+ certified Samsung Knox Vault, protecting against physical and hardware-level attacks.
Camera Capabilities
The camera systems on both devices are anchored by a 50-megapixel main sensor equipped with Optical Image Stabilization and HDR Video capabilities. The Galaxy A57 pairs its main shooter with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, while the A37 utilizes an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor.

Both phones complete their rear camera modules with a 5-megapixel macro lens. For selfies and video calls, the devices feature a 12-megapixel front-facing camera capable of HDR video recording.
Battery and Local Pricing
Samsung equipped both the A57 and A37 with 5000 mAh batteries built for all-day reliability. They support 45W Super Fast Charge 2.0, allowing the phones to securely reach a 65 percent charge in just 30 minutes.

In the Philippines, the Galaxy A37 starts at P25,990 for the 8GB+128GB model, while the Galaxy A57 starts at P28,990 for the same base configuration.
Early buyers can take advantage of launch promos that include a P1,500 cash discount on the 256GB variants, dropping the A37 to P26,490 and the A57 to P29,490. These Awesome Deals also bundle a free travel adapter, a two-year extended warranty, and a free phone case for purchases starting April 1.
