Nothing isn’t quite done for the year yet, as it confirmed that it will launch the Nothing Ear (3) on September 18.

The announcement came with a teaser of the design of the upcoming TWS earbuds. It shares the iconic transparent design and pinch controls as its predecessors.
However, what’s unique is the inner design of the stem. It seems to have a more metallic design, similar to the earcups of the Nothing Headphone (1). Moreover, the teaser confirms at least a black colorway.
What’s strange about the Ear (3) is that it is a successor to the Nothing Ear introduced in 2024, rather than to the Nothing Ear (2). If we were to take a guess, it is to keep it in line with the company’s phones’ numbers – Nothing Phone (3) and Phone (3a)/(3a) Pro.
Nothing has yet to reveal anything about the Nothing Ear (3), as of writing this, though, aside from the current teasers. We’ll just have to wait for more official announcements or even possible leaks. With a little more than a week to go, there’s plenty of time for both.
