Spotify has announced another price hike for its Premium subscriptions in various markets, excluding the U.S. and Canada for now.

Spotify Price Hike

The price adjustments, which will take effect in September 2025, are set to impact users across South Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific region. This move follows a similar price increase in the U.S. last year.

The company stated the reason for the price hike is to “continue to innovate on our product offerings and features.” While specific increases will vary by region, an example provided shows the individual Premium plan in some European markets rising from EUR 10.99 to 11.99.

Locally, for instance, the individual plan will increase from PHP 149 to PHP 169. Affected subscribers will be notified via email about the changes. The announcement led to a positive market reaction, with Spotify’s shares rising by approximately 3%.
