Nothing has officially introduced the Nothing Headphone (1), the company’s first over-ear headphones and latest audio offering. It debuted alongside the much-awaited Phone (3).

The Nothing Headphone (1) brings the bold design ethos of Nothing to the over-ear headphone market. It is designed to be visually iconic with transparent elements and comfortable to wear.

The headphones are equipped with a custom 40mm dynamic driver and tuned in partnership with KEF. This is coupled with a nickel-plated diaphragm and a uniform dome texture. Nothing has also introduced a Spatial Audio and Head tracking to improve the audio depending on the user.

It also features Advanced Hybrid ANC with 4 microphones with AI beamforming and AI-driven Environmental Noise Cancellation for clearer calls.

The Headphone (1) is said to offer up to 80 hours of playback with ANC off and up to 35 hours of playback with ANC on. Moreover, a 5-minute charge is said to deliver up to 2.4 hours of playback with ANC on.

The new over-ear headphones connect via Bluetooth 5.3 and supports LDAC and is Hi-Res Wireless Certified.

As for controls, the Nothing Headphone (1) features three tactile controls – the Roller, Paddle, and Button.

The Roller is used to click to play or pause music and cycle between ANC and Transparency Mode. The Paddle, on the other hand, is used to skip forward, scrub through tracks, and eliminate lag. Lastly, the Button is a single-action shortcut via the Nothing X app. It includes actions like Channel Hop to cycle through your favorite audio apps or launch your device’s voice assistant.

The Nothing Headphone (1) comes in two colorways – Black and White. And it is available internationally for USD 299 (around PHP 16,800)/EUR 299 (around PHP 19,800)/GBP 299 (around PHP 23,100).

We expect a local release soon via Digital Walker along with the Nothing Phone (3) at a later date. But, as of writing this, we have no news as to when.
