AYANEO has officially opened the pre-order for the AYANEO Pocket DS, its latest handheld gaming device powered, and the first Android handheld with a dual screen.
AYANEO Pocket DS

The AYANEO Pocket DS has a 7-inch 1080p OLED main panel with a 165Hz refresh rate paired with a 5-inch 4:3 ratio secondary 1024×768 LCD panel below. The secondary panel is flanked by hall linear thumbsticks on the left and right, a D-pad on the right below the thumbstick, and buttons above the right stick. On the bottom are other buttons as well.
AYANEO has a self-developed dual-screen interactive software that allows you to use the secondary display independently. By default, it runs in dual-screen display mode that allows you to run different applications on the display separately.

You can also quickly switch between up and down displays by swiping with your three fingers. Meanwhile, single-screen mode can also be enabled to offer more balanced battery life.
With dual screen mode, you can play games on the main screen and watch guides or videos, or play music on the secondary panel.

The secondary screen can also monitor performance data in real time or quick change settings like WiFi and Bluetooth via the AYASpace software.
The AYANEO Pocket DS is powered by the Snapdragon G3x Gen 2 platform, which is built on a 4nm process and has a 1GHz Adreno A32 GPU. This is coupled by an 8000mAh battery with support for PD fast charging.

The gaming handheld has a rounded design with a large R-angle that fits the curve of the palm. It also includes shoulder buttons.

The AYANEO Pocket DS is confirmed to be showcased at the Qualcomm Snapdragon booth at ChinaJoy 2025 in Shanghai on August 1.

That said though, he still has the mentality of "as long as it works" for his personal gadgets.
