Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi AI glasses in a massive launch event in China. It will directly compete against the Ray-Ban Meta glasses, the last of which was updated last year.

The Xiaomi AI Glasses have optional electrochromic lenses that change shade in 0.2 seconds. The frame itself features titanium alloy hinges and it is designed for Asian facial contours.

On the front is a 12MP (Sony IMX681) first-person camera while along the temples are dual speakers coupled with a five-microphone array with bone conduction and wind-noise resistance.
The new glasses also support real-time livestreaming, first-person video calls, and clear audio pickup.

At the helm of the glasses is a Snapdragon AR1 processor and it is backed by an integrated 263mAH battery. The battery is said to deliver up to 8.6 hours of usage.
The new glasses have a built-in Xiaomi AI system that supports multimodal capabilities like object recognition, text translation, calorie counting, and Q&A. It also allows you to use it as a meeting assistant and for smart summaries and real-time interpretation across 10 languages.
The new AI Glasses seamlessly pair with Xiaomi smartphones and it charges via USB-C charging and supports plug-in livestreaming.
Pricing and Availability

The Xiaomi AI Glasses comes in three colors – Black, Brown, and Green. It is priced in China starting CNY 1,999 (around PHP 15,800) and it goes as high as CNY 2,999 (around PHP 23,700).
It’s uncertain, as of writing this, if we’ll see it arrive in the Philippines but we’d definitely love to see more options in the wearable space in the country.
