Nothing CEO, Carl Pei, has officially disclosed the anticipated price range for its upcoming flagship, Nothing Phone (3). The device will be positioned as the company’s “first true flagship smartphone” with a price point “somewhere around £800” which is approximately the equivalent of USD 1,000.
A Step Up in Everything, Including Price
This price revelation represents a significant increase from the Nothing Phone (2), which was introduced at USD 599. The substantial price elevation aligns with the company’s strategic repositioning of the Phone (3) as a premium flagship device rather than a mid-range offering.
In a video segment for “The Android Show” on Google’s YouTube channel, Pei elaborated on the upcoming device’s premium features. The CEO stated that Nothing is “going all in” with “premium materials, major performance upgrades, and software that really levels things up.”
While the device’s technical specifications still remain undisclosed, these statements suggest substantial improvements over previous Nothing models.
When Will the Nothing Phone (3) Launch?
The Nothing Phone (3) has been confirmed for a Q3 release in 2025, with a summer launch window. Pei has also confirmed that the Phone (3) will be available in the United States, expanding Nothing’s geographical presence.
Product Strategy
The announcement follows Nothing’s recent launch of mid-range devices—the Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro—indicating a diversified product strategy across multiple price segments. Nothing Phone (3) appears positioned to compete directly with established premium flagship devices from major manufacturers.
As the launch approaches, the brand will likely reveal more information about the specific capabilities and design elements that will justify the Phone (3)’s premium pricing strategy.
