MediaTek introduced the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e, the latest member of the Dimensity 9400 series. It slots under the current Dimensity 9400 and Dimensity 9400+ chipsets. Based on the specs, the Dimensity 9400e is basically the Dimensity 9300+ with some upgrades.
MediaTek Dimensity 9400e
The Dimensity 9400e is built on the company’s All Big Core design, comprised of:
- 1 x Arm Cortex-X4 at 3.4GHz
- 3 x Arm Cortex-X4 at 2.85GHz
- 4 x Arm Cortex-A720 at 2.0GHz
This is roughly the core setup of the Dimensity 9300+. However, the Dimensity 9400e supports up to 8533MHz LPDDR5X RAM, down from 9600MHz on the 9300+.
The Dimensity 9400e also features the same Arm Immortalis-G720 MC12 GPU and UFS 4.0 storage with MCQ storage support.
Where the Dimensity 9400e offers more than the Dimensity 9300+ is in connectivity. The new chip offers a faster 7.32 Gbps Wi-Fi peak data rate from 6.5 Gbps. Moreover, the newest chip has Bluetooth 6.0 with a dual Bluetooth engine that is said to offer up to 5km within line of sight.

The MediaTek Dimensity 9400e also supports the latest MediaTek NeuroPilot SDK, which now supports Multi-Modality (LMM), Large Vision Models (LVM), and more Language Models (SLM/LLM).
The latest Dimensity 9400 chipset also carries over MediaTek HyperEngine and MediaTek Adaptive Gaming Technology in addition to MediaTek Frame Rate Converter. This is said to reduce power consumption by 40%.

realme and OnePlus are expected to be among the first companies to use the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset for the realme GT 7 and OnePlus Ace5 Racing Edition, respectively. These are expected to debut this month.
