According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the iPhone 17 Pro will have a redesigned rear camera module and will have the same color as the rest of the device.
iPhone 17 Pro – Alleged Design
The redesign is said to span the width of the device, akin to the camera modules of POCO, like the POCO F6 Pro. However, Gurman mentions that it “will be the same color as the rest of the device”. This would make the back panel pretty familiar by carrying over the monochromatic design from its predecessors.
The Information mentioned that Apple will implement a half-glass, half-aluminum build for the iPhone 17 Pro and 16 Pro Max to improve durability. The glass part will allow wireless charging, while the aluminum frame will help avoid breakage.
The redesigned camera module of the Pro has been going around like those from MajinBuOfficial on X/Twitter.
In addition, the iPhone 17 series is also rumored to come with the new iPhone 17 Air, which is said to replace the Plus variant of the iPhones.
Apple is expected to introduce the iPhone 17 series in September, so there’s plenty of time to learn more about the upcoming phones.
