Qualcomm announced its new Snapdragon chipset will be unveiled on March 18 on the popular Chinese social media platform Weibo.
A New Qualcomm Snapdragon Chipset is Coming
The company simply teased a launch event scheduled for March 18. Based on the Alibaba Cloud translation of the post, it seems like the new chipset will prioritize AI capabilities.
The post didn’t reveal much about what will be launched but it is believed that the company will introduce the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. which was leaked last month.
If confirmed, it would join the top-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the chip manufacturer’s Snapdragon SoC lineup, below Galaxy’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

- Cortex-X4 prime core at 3.01GHz
- 4x Cortex-A720 performance cores at 2.61GHz
- 3x Cortex-A520 efficiency cores at 1.84GHz
- Integration of Adreno 735 GPU
