Lenovo Legion Tab (8.8”, Gen 2) is now official

Lenovo is bringing its powerful Legion Tab Android gaming tablet to international markets, catering to the growing demand for premium mobile gaming experiences. Originally launched in China, the 8.8-inch tablet is now expanding its availability to Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

The Lenovo Legion Tab bridges the gap between PC and mobile gaming, offering a portable yet high-performance solution for gamers on the go. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, this tablet packs a punch, ensuring smooth and responsive gameplay.

With a stunning 8.8-inch QHD+ display boasting a 144Hz refresh rate, 98% DCI-P3 color gamut, and 500 nits of typical brightness, the Legion Tab delivers an immersive visual experience. The integrated haptic system further enhances the gaming experience, providing tactile feedback for added immersion.

Lenovo’s Legion ColdFront: Vapor thermal solution keeps the tablet cool during intense gaming sessions, featuring an oversized vapor chamber and three performance modes to balance power and battery life.

While this isn’t the first gaming-focused tablet of Legion, the new Legion Tab seamlessly integrates into the Lenovo Legion ecosystem, allowing content sharing and connectivity with Legion accessories for a comprehensive gaming environment. Users can effortlessly share content between the tablet and a Lenovo Legion laptop using Lenovo Freestyle.

With a 6,550mAh battery and support for 45W fast charging, the Legion Tab ensures extended gaming sessions without interruption. Dual USB-C ports offer versatility, with one port supporting DisplayPort 1.4 for connecting to external displays.

“The Lenovo Legion Tab is designed for gamers who navigate multiple devices daily,” said a Lenovo spokesperson. “It bridges the gap between PC and mobile gaming, offering a seamless and immersive experience.”

The Lenovo Legion Tab is expected to be available in EMEA markets starting in March 2024, with a starting price of €599 (including VAT). We reached out to Lenovo Philippines to know if the new tablet will be launched in the Philippines. Lenovo Philippines has not yet responded as of writing this article.
