Apart from its newest foldable and tablet, HONOR also debuted the HONOR Watch 6 in the Philippines, introducing a feature-packed smartwatch focused on health monitoring, fitness tracking, outdoor positioning, and everyday convenience.
Design
Designed with a 46.5mm case, the HONOR Watch 6 features a 1.46-inch AMOLED color display with a resolution of 464 × 464 pixels. The screen reaches up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness and supports touch commands, swiping in all directions, and press-and-hold interactions.
The smartwatch will be available in Shadow Black and Twilight Brown. The former combines a 316L stainless steel bezel with an aluminum alloy front case, while the latter uses 316L stainless steel for both its bezel and front case. Both versions feature durable polymer rear cases.
Depending on the selected strap and color, the watch weighs approximately 41 grams for Shadow Black and 50 grams for Twilight Brown, excluding the strap. The fluoroelastomer strap supports wrist sizes from 140mm to 210mm, while the composite strap fits wrists measuring 140mm to 200mm.
Battery and Connectivity
The HONOR Watch 6 houses a 980mAh battery which can provide up to 35 days of battery life in long-endurance usage scenarios and up to 17 days under typical usage. Charging is handled through a magnetic charging port using a charger rated at 5V/2A or higher. Other features include Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, a built-in speaker and microphone, and contactless payment support.
For positioning, the HONOR Watch 6 uses the HONOR AccuTrack System, which combines a new GNSS chip with dual-band GPS. It supports L1+L5 positioning alongside Galileo, Glonass, Beidou, QZSS, and NavIC satellite systems.
The smartwatch also supports up to 42 hours of dual-frequency independent positioning. Its 3D distance measurement feature is designed to improve calculations in demanding activities such as trail running, mountaineering, and cycling.
Health and Fitness Features
The HONOR Watch 6 includes an optical heart rate sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, barometer, and ambient light sensor. Its health tools include Blood Pressure Trend Monitoring, which provides generic risk assessment results within three days, as well as health management advice.
A Quick Health Scan lets users access health data with a single tap. The Health Monitoring Report provides an overview of the previous day’s health information, while Body Energy Assessment combines data such as heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep, and stress to evaluate the user’s energy status.
The watch supports more than 120 sports modes, covering activities such as running, cycling, strength training, dancing, mixed martial arts, skiing, and stair climbing. Wet Touch Control is designed to maintain screen responsiveness in rain, humid conditions, or when the display is covered in sweat.
Professional Badminton Mode analyzes swing count, swing speed, shot power, forehand-to-backhand ratio, and stroke types such as smashes and clears. It also tracks five dimensions and nine core data points, with 15 player tags intended to reflect changing play styles.
For football, the watch records real-time steps and distance, then provides post-workout information such as top sprint speed, average speed, and segment data. Through the companion app, users can review heat maps, sprint trajectories, and other field-performance metrics while customizing the pitch for more precise analysis.
Everyday Smart Functions
The HONOR Watch 6 also features video watch faces using outdoor scenes and Live Photos from a phone. Voice Notes allows users to record information or ideas directly from the wrist, while Dual Phone Message Notifications can display alerts from two HONOR phones, including missed calls, notifications, and SMS, with support for quick replies.
Wrist Gestures allow users to dismiss alarms, answer calls, or switch songs using simple wrist movements. The interface also receives a refreshed user experience, with MagicOS Transparent Display Mode improving interface layering and color contrast for clearer information presentation.
