Along with the Nothing Phone (2a), CMF by Nothing, Nothing’s sub-brand unveiled two new audio offerings – the CMF Buds and Neckband Pro.
CMF Buds and Neckband Pro
CMF Buds
The CMF Buds are the more affordable option to the CMF Buds Pro while still offering Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) at 42dB and transparency mode.
The earbuds are equipped with 12.4mm drivers with a bio-fibre and custom TPU diaphragm tuned by Dirac. They also have 4 microphones, compared to the 6 on its Pro sibling.
It is said to offer a total of 35.5 hours of playback with the charging case. The company boasts up to 6.5 hours of listening with 10 minutes of charging.
The Buds connect via Bluetooth 5.3 with support for Fast Pair. Moreover, it features multi-point connectivity and Low Lag gaming mode. The earbuds also have an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
CMF Neckband Pro
The CMF Neckband Pro, on the other hand, has a neckband-style design. They offer ANC at 50dB with the aid of 5 microphones.
It is said to offer up to 37 hours of playback with ANC off and 23 hours of non-stop listening with ANC on. 10 minutes of charging is said to offer up to 18 hours of listening time with ANC off.
The new neckband-style earbuds connect via Bluetooth 5.3 and feature Fast Pair and multi-point connectivity.
It also has an IP55 rating and magnets on the buds to help secure them around your neck. The Neckband Pro boasts a Smart Dial that controls volume, play and pause, and control tracks and ANC.
How much are the CMF Buds and Neckband Pro?
The CMF Buds are priced in India for INR 2,500 (around PHP 1,700). It comes in three colorways – Dark Grey, Light Grey, and Orange. The Buds are confirmed to arrive in the Philippines this month via Digital Walker.
The CMF Neckband Pro, on the other hand, comes in Dark Gray, Light Grey, and Orange color options. It has a price tag of INR 2,000 (around PHP 1,300) in India. It’s uncertain though, as of writing this if it will ever arrive locally.
