RPTV airs the noon-time show “Eat Bulaga!”, local comedy, action series, movies, Live Sports, and news and public service shows like Ted Failon, DJ Chacha, and Sen. Raffy Tulfo’s “Wanted sa Radyo.”

In addition, the channel’s president and CEO Guido Zaballero said that the launch of RPTV is in tandem with their aim to elevate the standard of TV shows in the Philippines.

RPTV, operated by MediaQuest Holdings Inc., is expanding its presence in the TV industry, once dominated by ABS-CBN Corp. and GMA Network Inc. The move follows the Lopez-led TV network exiting the free TV space in 2020, making GMA the dominant player. ABS-CBN signed a blocktime leasing deal with TV5 in 2022 to air some of its shows.
