Right on schedule, Huawei Philippines officially lifted the curtains off its newest products today, at a special event held in BGC, Taguig City. Three products were unveiled during the event – the new MatePad Pro 13.2-inch, MateBook D16 2024, and FreeClip.

HUAWEI MatePad Pro 13.2-inch boasts a Huawei X-True 13.2-inch display with a 94% screen-to-body ratio, 1,000 nits of brightness, 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, a resolution of 2880 x 1920 pixels, and a 144Hz refresh rate. It also supports 88W wired HUAWEI SuperCharge, enabling it to reach an 85% charge in a mere 40 minutes and a full charge in just over an hour.

The MatePad Pro 13.2 inch takes the viewing experience to new heights with its anti-burn screen algorithm, doubling the display lifespan and eliminating pattern issues that can occur at large viewing angles.

The device’s capabilities are further amplified by quality-of-life additions such as the 3rd generation Huawei M-Pencil, Smart Magnetic Keyboard, and Huawei Sound, making it a versatile ally for both work and leisure.

It also supports a variety of applications designed for office work, note-taking, brainstorming, and creative task such as Canva, TikTok, CapCut, and Mojing Paint. The HUAWEI MatePad Pro 13.2-inch is also equipped with Huawei’s PC-level WPS Office, a digital software suite akin to MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and ChatGPT.

The tablet can be paired with the 3rd Generation M-Pencil which uses NearLink technology for an improved writing experience with minimal delay, added precision, and adaptive pressure.
