Huawei announced that the Huawei nova 12 series will launch in China on December 26, 2023 as it started posting on its official Weibo account but started with a post by Huawei Consumer Business Group CEO Richard Yu on his Weibo.

The teaser photo and video reveal the back of a device which comes in a stunning blue colorway with the iconic nova logo embossed on the back of the device.
It also seems to hint at a triple rear camera system with two lenses in the main circle and the third next to the LED flash unit.
Currently, though, the company has yet to reveal anything about the hardware of the series, which is pretty understandable as it just started its teaser phase.
What are the current rumors on the Huawei nova 12 series?
That said though, there are already rumors about the company’s next nova series. The series is expected to be comprised of three variants – nova 12, nova 12 Pro, nova 12 Ultra. It is said that the vanilla member of the series will be powered by the Kirin 830 chipset, while its more powerful siblings will have the recently launched Kirin 9000s chipset.
The Ultra model is also believed to support 100W fast charging, have satellite connectivity, and a 50MP main lens with a variable aperture of f/1.4 – f/4.0.
We expect to learn more about the series in the following days as the company will want to build hype for its next-generation nova series which will launch in China on December 26 at 2:30 PM GMT+8.
