Xiaomi has just revealed the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro which came alongside the launch of the Xiaomi 13T series of smartphones. Aside from these, the Smart Band 8 was also launched globally.

The Watch 2 Pro runs on Google’s Wear OS, offering access to third-party apps and LTE connectivity for calls, texts, and phone-to-text communication without the need to connect to a smartphone.

This device features the Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 SoC that comes with 2GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. The display is a 1.43-inch 466 x 466p resolution AMOLED panel which comes with 20 pre-installed faces.

  • Dual-band GNSS positioning
  • WiFi
  • Bluetooth 5.2
  • NFC connectivity
  • 5ATM water resistant
  • 24/7 heart rate and blood oxygen tracking
  • Over 150 sports modes
  • Bioelectrical impedance sensor
  • 495 mAh battery rated at up to 65 hours of usage (Bluetooth-only version)
  • 55 hours of usage on the LTE variant
  •  Two-pin magnetic charger

The Watch 2 Pro is priced at EUR 270(around PHP 16,300) for the Bluetooth-only model and EUR 330(around PHP 20,000) for the LTE variant.

This device was launched last April with another name, the MI Band 8. It features a 1.62-inch AMOLED 490 x 192p resolution pill-shaped display.

Moreover, you get the same health and tracking benefits as its predecessor with added interactive fitness courses that make use of the Band 8’s accelerometer for tracking movements.

  • Multiple strap options like leather, nylon fabric, and metal
  • Pendant accessory for advanced tracking and posture monitoring
  • 16 days battery life with typical usage and 6 days with AOD mode on
  • two-pin charger that promises a one-hour full charge

This device is priced at EUR 40 (around PHP 2,400).
