Qualcomm has just released the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, a 4nm processor chipset made for budget phones. The chip’s CPU and ISP are less powerful than other Snapdragon 7 series chips, and rumors suggest it may be included in the upcoming Redmi Note 13 series.

The chipset features four performance cores clocked at 2.4GHz and four efficiency cores running at 1.95GHz. The processor can support up to FHD+ resolution at 144Hz alongside 3200 MHz LPDRR5 memory.
In addition, the Spectra ISP supports smartphones with a single 200 MP camera, and 4K video capture.
Other features include –
- FastConnect 6700 connectivity platform (download speeds up to 2.9 Gbps),
- support for up to Bluetooth 5.2

- USB-C 3.1
- Quick Charge 4+
No official release date has been shared by Qualcomm regarding this new SoC. So for now we can only wait for further announcements.
