ZTE Nubia has just launched the RedMagic 8S Pro and Pro Plus in China which are both powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Leading Version SoC.
RedMagic 8S Pro and Pro Plus Details
This flagship gaming phone series is the first one to break the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy monopoly by being able to overclock its SoC up to 3.36Ghz which the brand calls Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Leading Version.
Moreover, the brand carried over the Red Core R2 gaming chip from the series’ predecessor to reduce the workload placed on the SoC by handling processing such as shoulder triggers, RGB lighting, speakers, and haptic feedback.
The Pro Plus model also comes with a special Bumblebee Edition that features aesthetics based on the Transformers character design.
