Samsung has previewed its presentation for IFA Berlin this year. Jae Seung Lee, Head of Appliances at Samsung Electronics wrote in a blog post that the company pushing to produce more sustainable and energy-efficient products in the near future without giving specific details.
Mr. Lee also provided three key steps the Korean company will take to be “The No.1 energy efficiency brand in home appliances”.
The first step in achieving this significantly challenging goal is to implement WiFi connectivity in all new appliances that will be connected to the Bespoke Home smart services.
Furthermore, it will also feature the SmartThings platform at its core to enhance energy efficiency and give you more control. Also, all future appliances by the manufacturer will feature AI-based energy-saving capabilities out of the box.
For the second step, Samsung partnered up with Patagonia (an eco-friendly clothing brand) to help push its eco-friendly plans for the future. This will help Samsung make washing machines that can help reduce microplastics in our environment.
Finally, the third step to reach Samsung’s goal is with the help of Qcells and SMA. This partnership will push to create carbon-neutral projects that can further reduce pollutants in our environment.
More information will be revealed this Friday, September 2, 2022, during the IFA event.
