Nothing has just started rolling out Nothing OS 1.1.3 for the Nothing phone (1) a couple of weeks after the Nothing OS 1.1.2 update. The new 1.1.3 introduces a lot of camera improvements and a variety of bug fixes.
Among the camera improvements include:
- faster Night Mode and HDR photo processing times
- richer color saturation with the ultrawide camera
- improved photo clarity when using the front camera
- automatical “optimal color and brightness” with the Glyph lighting
- remind to clean the camera lenses
Additionally, the update includes an option to turn on the Google Adaptive Battery and a redesigned fingerprint UI for third-party apps.

Nothing OS 1.1.3 also fixes bugs like the stuttering in apps like Twitter, Play Store, and more. The update also fixes the bug that prevented the mobile hotspot from working correctly. The bug that caused the lock screen to crash after tapping a notification and trying to unlock with your fingerprint was also included in those fixed in the patch.
The rollout of the new software update is underway but it could take a few days for it to reach all Nothing phone (1) units. If it does arrive, it is a 64MB download.
We haven’t received the update yet as of writing this though. If you’re interested in the device, you can check out our review on the Nothing phone (1) here.
