Nothing OS 1.1.0 version released - notes

Nothing OS 1.1.0 introduces Tesla integration through a Quick Settings toggle and the new NFT widget. The former allows you to perform different actions with your Tesla EV, while the latter lets you display your digital artwork collection on the home screen. Both were highlighted during the launch of the phone (1).

It also has camera improvements including:

  • Ability to use Glyph fill light in Portrait Mode
  • Improved noise reduction and dynamic range in lower light environments
  • Improved clarity with the ultrawide camera
  • Ultrawide camera color tweaked to be more consistent between the rear cameras

A lock screen bug fix has also been rolled out as well as an improved face unlock performance. Moreover, there are improvements for the Glyph interface and battery life optimizations for the standby power state. Lastly, it comes with the July 2022 Android security patch.

We have the phone in for review but it will be out in a couple of weeks. For now, check out our unboxing of the Nothing phone (1) via our TikTok.
