With the latest Xiaomi 12 Series, Xiaomi brings together four visual storytellers from Southeast Asia to share their passions and stories. The “Proactive Action” campaign, made by National Geographic Creative Works for Xiaomi, tells about causes that are important to the storytellers and tries to get people interested in them so that they can continue to exist. The stories are told from the point of view of a famous photographer from each country. Gab Mejia from the Philippines, Annice Lyn from Malaysia, Sirachai “Shin” Arunrugstichai from Thailand, and Linh Pham from Vietnam tell the stories from their own countries’ points of view.

“We are excited to be working with National Geographic Creative Works on this campaign to celebrate the people, lives, and cultures of Southeast Asia,” says KM Leong, General Manager for Southeast Asia at Xiaomi International. With its pro-grade triple 50MP camera array and advanced AI algorithm, the Xiaomi 12 Pro, which is the company’s “premium flagship,” can beautifully capture the visual stories of each explorer who takes part in this campaign. We can’t wait to see how the National Geographic photographers who will be featured handle every scene.”

Each explorer’s chosen theme will be shown through a series of photos and a short video in Proactive Action. The Xiaomi 12 Pro’s triple 50MP pro-grade camera lenses will be put to the test, with new features like ProFocus and Ultra Night Video getting special attention. The campaign covers a wide range of important social, cultural, and environmental issues to each explorer.
