Google announced at Google I/O that it has released the Android 13 Beta 2 for Pixel devices and other devices. Additionally, the event saw the launch of the Pixel 6a and Pixel Buds Pro along with a peek at upcoming devices.
Android 13 introduces new permission for sending notifications, improved permissions for pairing with nearby devices, and a privacy-protecting photo picker. Additionally, it has app-specific language settings, matching of app icons to theme colors, support for HDR video, Bluetooth LE Audio, and MIDI 2.0 over USB.
The new Android version also has enhancements for tablets and features like the automatic deletion of clipboard history after a certain period. There’s also a media control that showcases the album artwork.
Meanwhile, in future versions, it will also unify the Security & privacy settings page. It will now have a clear and color-coded indicator of safety status and will show suggestions to improve on these two.
