As the new kid on the foldable device block, it was only a matter of time until we saw the OPPO Find N go through the YouTuber JerryRigEverything (JRE) durability test. The YouTuber tested the new foldable device’s two displays, hinge, and the structural strength of the phone itself.

The outer display was the first to go through the scratch test which saw scratches at level 6 of the Mohs Hardness Scale and deeper grooves at level 7. This is unsurprising as it is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. Meanwhile, the inner display had scratched at level 2 and showed that even scratches with your fingernails were enough to leave marks.

The displays also went through a burn test and the inner display was able to hide the burn damage from an open flame. The outer display, on the other hand, stood its ground against the fire.

As his go-to test for foldable devices, JRE also put some dirt and then folded the device. This is to test the display and the hinge of said device. While the gravel did leave marks on the pretty fragile Find N inner display, it did nothing to affect the hinge.

The last part of the durability test is the bend test. The OPPO Find N also held up in all versions of the bend test. This includes being bent while folded and unfolded.
