Apple has just unveiled the iPhone 13 series comprised of the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. These were launched alongside the refreshed iPad and iPad mini and Apple Watch Series 7.

The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini feature 6.1-inch and 5.4-inch Super Retina XDR OLED displays with Ceramic Shield for protection. This is 28% brighter with a max outdoor brightness of 800nits with a peak brightness for HDR content at 1200nits.

The rear features a 12MP wide camera accompanied by a 12MP ultra-wide lens sitting diagonally in the rounded square camera module. The latter is the biggest sensor in an iPhone dual-camera system and gathers 47% more light offering less noise and brighter photos. Meanwhile, the wide rear camera features Sensor-shift OIS.

Both also feature Cinematic mode that allows filmmakers to adjust the level of bokeh as well as edit the depth-of-field effect in the video even after recording.

Under the hood, they feature the A15 Bionic chip with a new Image Signal Processor (ISP), 6-core CPU, 4-core GPU, and 16-core Neural Engine. This is said to offer 50% more CPU performance and 30% faster graphic performance than any competition. The Neural Engine is also said to be capable of 15.8 trillion operations per second.

The new chipset is accompanied by three storage options of 128/256/512GB. The iPhone 13 mini is said to last 1.5 than the 12 mini while the iPhone 13 is said to last 2.5 hours longer than its predecessor.

The iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max, on the other hand, are built around a 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR panel, respectively. They feature ProMotion that supports an adaptive refresh rate from 10Hz to 120Hz. Like the 13 and 13 mini, both Pro variants are protected by Ceramic Shield and feature an IP68 rating.

Around the back, the Pro and Pro Max feature a Wide, an Ultra-wide, and a Telephoto lens. The telephoto lens has a 77mm focal length with up to 3x optical zoom and offers macro shooting. They also support Cinematic mode.

Both Pro variants of the 13 series are powered by an A15 Bionic chipset but with an improved 5-core GPU which offers 50% graphics performance. They come with four storage options – 128GB/256GB/512GB

The iPhone 13 Pro is said to last 1.5 hours longer than its predecessor, while the 13 Pro Max lasts 2.5 hours longer than the 12 Pro Max.

The iPhone 13 and 13 mini are available in Pink, Blue, Midnight, Starlight, and (PRODUCT) RED colorways. Meanwhile, the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max come in Graphite, Gold, Silver, and Sierra Blue color options.
