realme and Xiaomi Looking Ahead at Devices Powered by a 5nm Chipset

Executives from realme and Xiaomi took to Weibo and teased products for their respective brands with a 5nm chipset. This comes after Apple unveiled the new iPad Air with the A14 Bionic chip built on a 5nm process.

realme-5nm-chipsetrealme Vice President and President of Global Marketing Xu Qi Chase posted an image that teases a possible new series that will pack a 5nm chipset.

xiaomi-5nm-chipsetXiaomi Vice President Lu Weibing, on other hand, replied to a post that pointed out that the new iPad Air is the only device with a 5nm processor. The answer from the Xiaomi executive was short but sweet and also hinted that we may see the company release its own products.

Either company has yet to announce anything about a device with a 5nm chipset but based on the posts from its executives, it might just be a matter of time.
