OnePlus finally unveiled the new OnePlus 7T series which includes the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro (well and the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition).
The OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro share most of the hardware and the features, which include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+, a 90Hz Fluid display and HDR10+. They also come with the upgraded Warp Charge 30T which according to the company is 23% faster than Warp Charge 30. To top it all off, the company mentioned that all three phones will run on Oxygen OS 10, based on Android 10 out of the box.
The OnePlus 7T is the smaller of the two phones with a 6.55-inch display while the Pro version has a slightly bigger 6.67-inch display. Both phones have a 16MP front shooter, the OnePlus 7T has a waterdrop notch. while the Pro uses a pop-up module.
While we’re on the topic of cameras, both phones have a triple rear camera setup. Both OnePlus 7T phones have a 48MP main shooter with f/1.6 aperture along with a 16MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture.The base 7T has a 12MP f/2.2 aperture telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and the Pro version has an 8MP f/2.4 aperture telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
Along with the notch, the OnePlus 7T has its camera setup horizontally in the middle of a circle design on the back of the phone, while the Pro has a more traditional vertical orientation that runs in the middle of the rear panel.
In addition to the latest Qualcomm SoC, the OnePlus 7T has two memory configurations – 8GB RAM/128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM/256GB internal storage. The OnePlus 7T Pro comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
The special edition, OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition has the most memory configuration with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
The 7T has a 3800mAh battery while the Pro version gets its juice from a 4085mAh battery.
The OnePlus 7T comes in two colors – Glacier Blue and Frosted Silver, while the Pro version comes in Haze Blue (well… and I guess McLaren Edition which has the familiar McLaren orange hue as accents around the phone). The OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro will be available in Europe starting October 17 and will retail for GBP 549 (around PHP 35,000) and GBP 699 (around PHP 45,000), respectively. The OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition will land in Europe on November 5 for GBP 799 (around PHP 51,000). We hope to see these phones hit Philippine shores as well.
