Recently, ASUS has announced the arrival of the newest member of the lineup – The FX505DV. It’s a gaming laptop powered by a combination of an AMD Ryzen 7 processor and an NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX graphics card, a first.
The FX505DV has a 15.5-inch FHD NanoEdge display with 6.5mm thin bezels, 120Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time for smooth and fluid movements. Under the hood is an AMD Ryzen 7 3750H, backed by the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, 8GB of DDR4 RAM and a combination of a 512GB SSD, and a 1TB HDD for storage.
Built with durability in mind, the laptop has also passed MIL-STD-810G tests, which means you can be confident that it will withstand daily use, endure accidental knocks, and survive sudden drops from a desk.
It’s also built with an RGB Backlit keyboard which can be customized using the TUF AURA Core software to add a personal touch and your own unique style. Hyperstrike Technology and a desktop-inspired layout ensures more accurate typing and better ergonomics, while Overstroke technology ensures faster keystroke register.
For cooling, FX505DV is equipped with Hypercool Technology, which uses an Anti-Dust Cooling system, and HyperFan to ensure optimal cooling during long hours of gaming.
To add a new level of immersion, the laptop is also loaded with DTS Headphone: X technology for high-fidelity 7.1-channel virtual surround sound, and theater audio quality when using stereo headsets.
