ASUS Philippines recently announced its partnership with Schneider Electrics to deliver uninterrupted Internet connectivity to Filipinos by bundling select ASUS routers with APC’s compact Back-UPS Connect Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS).
With unexpected power outages happening, productivity tends to decrease due to sudden loss of connectivity. Blackouts can also cause sudden electrical surges that may disable electronics.
A UPS is designed specifically to tackle these kinds of situations. In addition to providing continuous power after a brownout, it also protects devices from damaging voltage fluctuations. Paired with ASUS’ wide range of feature-packed routers, people now have an opportunity to finish important tasks and manage affairs, even for a limited period of time.
Back-UPS Connect can provide power not just for ASUS routers, but for other small devices for up to 150 minutes. That’s more than enough to send that time-sensitive files to peers or transfer a large post-processed video file to a NAS for backup.
