The report indicates that in a span of 6 months, the brand was already able to establish its foothold in the country, even passing OPPO, which is a very strong contender in the market. Another strong brand, Xiaomi assumes the top spot, which isn’t quite a surprise, considering the number of devices that they come out with, combined with very competitive pricing.

Realme, which started operations in the country in Q2 of 2018, already earned a spot in the top five brands in Q4 of 2018, that equates to 4 million users faster than any other brand, and they aren’t even stopping just yet.

India’s smartphone market, considered as second largest next to China, grew 11%. As far as revenue is concerned, Samsung, Xiaomi, Vivo, OPPO and Apple are still the market leaders.

In the Philippines, the brand continues to make a mark in more consumers. Its debut smartphone, the C1, has earned positive reviews from many tech blogs, and continues to sell well in both offline and online channels.
