At its recently concluded product launch in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, ASUS showcased its newest lineup of gaming products, ranging from routers, gaming headsets, graphics cards, gaming mice, monitors, and even an Aura Sync-enabled mouse pad! All designed to meet the demands of today’s evolving gaming industry, and built with quality and craftsmanship that the Republic of Gamers is known for. Let’s have a look.
ROG Strix GeForce RTX 2080 Ti and 2080
Powered by the new Turing architecture, the GeForce RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti are equipped with new Axial-tech fans that make use of the latest innovations from the Republic, including longer blades, and a barrier ring which improves structural integrity. The new design also allows the fans to shift more air, without any increase to the noise levels.
The new Strix cards are produced using Auto-Extreme technology, which utilizes a single-pass soldering process, reducing the thermal strain on the components while avoiding the use of harsh cleaning chemicals.
ROG Rapture GT-AX11000
The world’s first gaming router that offers over 10 Gigabit concurrent Wi-Fi speeds, the ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 supports the latest Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard, and delivers up to 2.53X faster data rates while reducing latency. With improvements to the triple-level game acceleration, the router can prioritze packets on the networks for those who are using ROG Notebooks, desktops and motherboards that support GameFirst V.
In addition, the combination of GameFirst V, Game Boost, and wtfast prioritization on the router reduces ping times by up to 90%, for an unparalleled gaming experience.
Designed not only for gaming, but for music as well, the ROG Delta is the world’s first gaming headset powered by a Hi-Res ESS ES9218 Quad DAC for clear, true-to-life audio, allowing you to locate your enemy’s position more effectively. It also utilizes an airtight chamber, plus ASUS’ own signature Essence drivers, delivering clear highs and punchy bass.
It’s also the first gaming headset to make use of a circular-rainbow RGB lighting design, featuring a lightweight, D-shaped ear cup for added comfort during long hours of gaming. The included USB-C to USB 2.0 adapter also makes it a perfect companion for PC, PS4, and even mobile gaming.
ROG Balteus Qi
It’s equipped with a dedicated button for adjusting the lighting effects on the fly, a USB 2.0 pass through, and take note, Qi Wireless Charging. There will also be another variant that will be sold, minus the wireless charging feature.
ROG Gladius II Wireless
My personal favorite of the bunch, the ROG Gladius II now has a wireless version, and offers dual wireless connectivity that’s combined with industry-leading signal stability. The movements tracked by its 16,000 dpi sensor are quickly converted into on-screen action, thanks to ultrafast 1ms 2.4GHz low latency Bluetooth connectivity.
The mouse’s contours are designed with the help of pro gamers, and ensure maximum comfort, while the ROG-exclusive socket design allows for easy switch replacements, for added personalization. Of course, it also features RGB lighting and Aura Sync, so that it matches any setup.
