In collaboration with renowned fashion designer, Rajo Laurel, ASUS has recently unveiled its newest lineup of premium ZenBooks, aimed to showcase the next level of ultraportable notebooks.
Available in Royal Blue and Quartz Grey, the 12.9mm thin ZenBook 3 Deluxe is a more powerful version of the ZenBook 3. It sports an all-aluminium construction with a 77% screen-to-body ratio, weighs less than 1kg, and has a 14-inch ultra-narrow-bezel display. This makes it a perfect a perfect balance between portability and performance.
The ZenBook 3 Deluxe boasts a 14-inch Full HD display with an ultra narrow 7.46mm bezel and edge-to-edge Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and is powered by a 7th Generation Intel Core processor, up to 16GB of 2133MHz LPDDR3 RAM, and a 1TB PCIe SSD. It also has two USB Type-C ports which are Thunderbolt 3-enabled, and are capable of lighting-fast 40Gbps data transfers, dual 4K external displays, and power delivery.
It also takes full advantage of ASUS-exclusive technologies to deliver a rich and lifelike visual experience. The wide 100% sRGB color gamut and TV-grade 1000:1 contrast ratio ensures vivid colors, while the ASUS Splendid technology optimizes the display settings for color accuracy. ASUS Tru2Life video enhances the appearance of every pixel to improve contrast by 200% and deliver pin-point sharpness.
In terms of audio, the ASUS Golden Ear team collaborated with specialists from Harman Kardon to develop the newest SonicMaster Premium Audio technology. The ZenBook 3 Deluxe has four high-quality speakers which deliver true surround-sound, as well as a four-channel smart amplifier which allows for maximum volume with no distortion for an immersive listening experience.
For improved ergonomics, the ZenBook 3 Deluxe has also been fitted with an edge-to-edge back lit keyboard with full size keys and improved 1.2mm key travel for maximum comfort and typing accuracy.
The touchpad supports Windows Precision Touchpad technology and is covered in glass. It also incorporates palm-incorporation technology, multi-touch gestures, and handwriting support. A fingerprint sensor has been placed at the top right corner, allowing users to quickly unlock the device with a single touch through Windows Hello. Fingerprint authentication may also be used in compatible applications.
Apart from the ZenBook 3 Deluxe, the company also unveiled the ZenBook UX430 and UX530, which are thin and light laptops incorporated with large displays, slim bezels, an an ultra-compact form factor.
The ZenBook UX430 comes in three colors and features a 14-inch display in a body that is as small as the ones in 13-inch laptops. This remarkable achievement was made possible by the ultra-narrow 7.18mm bezel, which in turn gives the device an incredible 80% screen-to-body ratio for comfort and productivity.
It is also powered by a 7th Generation Intel Core processor, with up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM, up to 512GB of SSD storage, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 940M dedicated graphics card.
The ZenBook UX530 on the other hand is available in Quartz Grey, and is a machine for those who are in need of an even bigger display. This one has 15.6 inches of real estate for you to work with. It boasts the same powerful components, but with a more powerful GTX 950M graphics card.
