“LIBRENG INTERNET” (free internet) to “LIBRE DING YOUTUBE” (free YouTube too)!

Wireless services leader, Smart Communications just announced the extension of their free Internet promo until February 28. Now what’s even more interesting is they also included popular video streaming sites like YouTube, Vimeo and Daily Motion in the bunch of services that everyone registered to the promo can access.

It is recommended to utilize this service using low-bandwidth consuming applications like Facebook Lite; and switch the video to mobile/low standard to avoid depleting the 30mb free allotment. But I still believe though that 30mb per day can take you a long way. It’s still always best to extend your subscription to other internet bundles and services of Smart to enjoy uninterrupted service.

According to Charles Lim, EVP and Head of Wireless Consumer Business of Smart and Sun Cellular, “We are excited to expand the Smart Free Internet promo to include video streaming, since we all know how much Filipinos enjoy watching videos online. This is still part of the formula at the core of our ‘Internet for All’ message – making the Internet fun, fast, and worry-free for our subscribers.”
