Members of the media and authorized distributors from Manila, Central Luzon, South Luzon, Bicol, Cebu and Davao were welcomed by Katrina Li, Oppo’s Overseas Brand Director. She is responsible for both external and internal brand communications across all of Oppo’s overseas marketplaces, including Asia Pacific, South America and Africa. P1070454 The event was graced by the President and CEO of Philippines Oppo Mobile Technology, Inc., Mr. James Ma. During the event, after fluently greeting everyone a “Magandang Gabi Po sa inyong lahat.”, Ma said that they, in Oppo, are extremely excited to launch the Oppo brand and their leading mobile technologies to the Philipine Market. He also added “Oppo prides itself in delivering world-class innovations that cater to consumers with different requirements when it comes to their mobile needs.” During the event, Oppo also officially launched 3 revolutionary and extremely beautiful devices, Find 7, Find 7a and N1. Below are some photos of the Oppo N1.

Oppo Find 7 and 7a

Find 7 is undoubtedly made to impress. Its meticulous design and body frame sure looks very unique compared to other brands. According to Oppo, Find 7’s frame is made of the latest aerospace qualified Titanium Aluminum alloy for increased strength. I am instantly sold when they said this. P1070516

P1070535 The new flagship is also the first device with 5.5-inch Quad HD JDI screen with 2K resolution (2560×1440 with 538ppi). It’s Corning Gorilla Glass 3 so you’re assured that its screen protection is extra buffed. Its screen is ultra sensitive too, thanks to its JDI technology. This allows the phone to be more responsive to touch. P1070530 Move over, OGS, TOL (touch on lens) is here. It is technically almost the same with OGS, but TOL is a far more polished and bound solution. Find 7 has this technology, which makes it more resistant to scratch and cracks. It also provides extra strength to the phone by 40%. P1070433 The device is powered by the new generation Snapdragon 801 clocked at 2.5Ghz with Adren 330 GPU and 3GB RAM. (Really WHOA!) It is running on Android 4.3 with Color OS 1.2 sitting on top. Color OS 1.2 offers customized features that brings totally different functions to the phone. P1070537 Features of Color OS on top of Android 4.3 are as follows:

  • Screen-off gesttures
  • Multui-finger operation
  • Gesture recognition
  • Custom Gestures
  • Air Unlock
  • Supports Tagalog
  • Pre-installed with customized SWYPE
  • Emotional Ergonomics

Wait, we’re not done yet! There are just so many reasons why this phone is awesome, you know? It is also 4G enabled. As a matter of fact, Find 7 is Oppo’s first 4G device. P1070536 And here’s something that sets this apart from other phones – VOOC Rapid Charge. VOOC is a multi-step constant current charging  technology present on Find 7. Because of this technology, VOOC can full charge its 3,000mAh battery to 100% in less than 50 minutes. It’s highly efficiently, but more than that, this technology doesn’t just make the phone hot, it is safe too because of its 5-layer technology P1070520 Now here’s another kicker – Find 7 has monstrous camera sensor – the world’s first Sony IMX214. It is a second generation stacked sensor with powerful graphic capabilities that eliminate smear in motion scenes. I don’t want to be too technical here but it’s so awesome, you can technically ditch your DSLR camera with this one. (Well, not actually..) It can take photos at 2.0 aperture and reach 30fps when shooting 4K video (120fps slow playback for 720P).

Find 7 vs Find 7a

Find 7 and Find 7a will both be available this month in authorized retailers and resellers nationwide for PhP25,990 and PhP22,990 respectively. What can you say about this, guys? Do you think these 2 devices are worth getting? Tell us your thoughts.
