Instax Philippines recently held a launch party to welcome the new Instax Pal 2 and Instax Link WIDE 2 to the Philippines. Called the “Instax Playhouse,” the event was held to showcase the devices’ unique features, some of which we got to try out!
The Instax Pal 2 is a New Feature-Packed Tiny Camera to Play With
One of the two main devices introduced during the Instax Playhouse event is the highly anticipated Instax Pal 2. At first glance, it may seem like another tiny digital camera to hit the market, but it comes packed with features that are distinctly Fujifilm and Instax.
It has physical features like a built-in viewfinder, analog-style lever, dials, tactile buttons, and a 1.3-inch LCD screen positioned on top for a different shooting experience. Photos can be taken in popular Instax formats like No Frames, mini, SQUARE, and WIDE.
There are a wide variety of effects (like film simulations) to change the vibe of photos, and a stop-motion-like burst shot that can be created using the Instax Pal 2’s animation feature.
The form factor is also an upgrade from the OG Instax Pal released back in 2023, and highly reminiscent of classic Fujifilm cameras. It can be connected via Bluetooth or through USB Type-C, has a micro-SD slot, and can keep up to 100 photos in its internal memory.

Perfect to Pair with the Instax Link WIDE 2
Also launched at the same event, the Instax Link WIDE 2 is a new smartphone printer that pairs incredibly well with the Instax Pal 2. But what’s great is you don’t need an Instax camera to print your photos with this device.
Using the Instax WIDE film format, it prints photos out in seconds. It has different print modes to change the vibe of your photos, applicable frames to add some design to prints, and can even print QR codes that can house secret messages, locations, and more.
Printing a collage of photos is also easy with the printer’s native app, plus the new Photo Mixer let’s you create interesting postcard collages and prints that’s great for scrapbooking. And if you’re not happy with that the mix looks like, you can remix up to five times.

Instax Philippines x Jill Arteche Collaboration
Instax Philippines also revealed a new collaboration with local artist Jill Arteche, who created the visuals seen around the Instax Playhouse.
Unique characters toting the Instax Pal 2 and Instax Link WIDE 2 are featured in the marketing materials and unique merchandise to celebrate the launch of the two new devices.
