The OPPO Reno16 Series 5G and the OPPO Watch S are now available in the Philippines, and OPPO is presenting the phone and the smartwatch as a matched pair built for days that move without much warning.
Two devices, one long day
The idea behind the pairing is simple enough. Some days are planned down to the hour, while others take shape as they go, from a full day at work or school to a coffee that turns into a long conversation.

A run squeezed in before sunset and an invitation to go somewhere just before heading home belong to the same kind of day, and OPPO says the two products split that load rather than compete for it.
The OPPO Reno16 Series 5G carries the heavier work of capturing, creating, organizing and sharing, while the OPPO Watch S keeps calls, messages and controls within reach from the wrist.

Pocket Studio and four 50MP cameras
At the center of the phone is Pocket Studio, the imaging experience OPPO uses to frame the Reno16 Series 5G. On the OPPO Reno16 5G, four 50MP cameras each take on a different job, which OPPO says removes the need to carry a separate camera setup.
The 50MP Ultra-Clear Main Camera takes in a table spread and the details of a cafe, the 50MP Telephoto Portrait Camera frames a friend from across the table, and the 50MP Ultra Wide Camera fits a whole group along with the room around them.
A fourth 50MP Ultra-Wide Selfie Camera gives group selfies the same treatment, so one phone covers four perspectives at once.
Software handles the rest of the workflow. Pop Cam brings nostalgic looks such as Digicam, Instant Film and Light Leak into the native Camera app, so a shot can carry its mood from the moment it is taken.
AI Remix Collage and Motion Photo Popout 2.0 then turn those shots into expressive, social-ready posts, often before a group has left the table.
The Watch S keeps the day moving
The OPPO Watch S opens the morning with calls and messages readable from the wrist, which lets a quick glance settle whether something needs attention without interrupting whatever is happening.
Music controls follow the same logic, because a playlist started on the phone can be skipped or turned down from the watch.
By late afternoon the watch takes the lead again. More than 100 sports modes cover a wide range of activities, and 12 professional sports modes offer deeper tracking for people who want to understand their performance rather than simply log it.
Sport tracking and Pro Running Mode
Runners get a more specialized experience through Pro Running Mode, which brings together dual-band GPS, posture analysis, fat burn tracking and lactate threshold insights.
Once a run is finished, the activity data is easy to review on the paired OPPO Reno16 Series 5G, and Pocket Studio is already in hand for a post-run photo with the running group.
ColorOS 16 inside the ecosystem
ColorOS 16 handles the part of the day that keeps changing. AI Mind Space gives users a dedicated place to collect and organize useful information, so a meeting place, a reservation or a link shared by a friend does not get lost across different apps.
Nano Second Smooth keeps everyday interactions fast while jumping between chats, maps and the camera, which matters when plans shift quickly.
When a group asks for copies of the day’s photos, O+ Connect works as an iOS Bridge for easier file sharing between compatible OPPO and iPhone devices, so friends on either side of the group chat end up with them.
OPPO also lists the OPPO Pad 5 alongside the Watch S as part of the same ecosystem, though the release does not carry pricing for the tablet.
Price and availability
The OPPO Watch S comes in Phantom Black for PhP9,999 and Silver Gleam for PhP10,999, both sold through the OPPO online store.
The OPPO Reno16 Series 5G is now available in the Philippines through the OPPO Online Store and OPPO Stores nationwide.
OPPO frames the two devices as complementary rather than interchangeable. One keeps a user connected at a glance, while the other is ready to capture, create and keep up with whatever the rest of the day brings.
More details are available on OPPO Philippines’ official website, and the series’ Pocket Studio feature set was covered earlier in the OPPO Reno16 Series 5G photo story on Gadget Pilipinas.
