The Sony ULT POWER SOUND lineup in the Philippines continues to expand with three new party speakers: the Sony ULT TOWER MAX, ULT TOWER 7, and ULT TOWER 5. Announced for the Asia-Pacific region on September 2, 2026, the new models are designed for parties, DJ sessions, karaoke, dancing, and everyday listening under the tagline “Massive Bass. Ultimate Vibe.”
The lineup features newly developed large circular woofers, large-capacity speaker cabinets, and Sony’s ULT DUCT technology. Together, these components are designed to produce deeper low-frequency bass and higher sound pressure. Sony also developed the speakers through collaboration with hip-hop sound creators, including Dot Da Genius, Daru Jones, Dready, and Dennis “ROC.am” Jones. Their feedback helped tune the speakers for deeper bass, greater impact, and clearer vocals.
Three Speakers for Different Setups
The ULT TOWER MAX is the most powerful model in the new range. It uses three woofers—two facing forward and one facing backward—and a high-powered amplifier capable of delivering up to 2,150 watts of output. It also includes DJ and karaoke features in a portable design.
The ULT TOWER 7 produces up to 420 watts of output and is intended for larger spaces, parties, DJ setups, karaoke, and everyday listening. The compact ULT TOWER 5 delivers up to 300 watts and combines bass performance, DJ input, and karaoke functions for smaller gatherings and portable use.
All three models include Sony’s ULT button with ULT1 and ULT2 sound modes. ULT1 enhances deep bass, while ULT2 increases bass power and sound pressure. New FLAT and LIVE modes provide a true-to-source listening profile and a spacious live-performance effect while maintaining vocal clarity. Users can also customize the sound through Custom EQ in the Sony | Sound Connect app.
Party Features and Portability
The ULT TOWER MAX and ULT TOWER 7 feature 360° Party Sound, which projects audio around the speakers for clearer vocals and powerful bass from different positions. It also boasts Enhanced Sound Field Optimization that analyzes speaker placement and surrounding noise, then adjusts the overall balance across the frequency range.
The speakers also support XLR, RCA, and USB-C connections, along with stereo pairing for compatible models. New BEAT, WAVE, and MELLOW lighting modes allow users to match the atmosphere to the activity. Karaoke users can connect Sony’s optional ULTMIC1, while Party Chain uses Auracast broadcast to synchronize music and lighting across compatible Sony speakers.
The speakers feature carry handles, while the ULT TOWER MAX and ULT TOWER 7 add upgraded wheels with wider treads. The ULT TOWER 7 and ULT TOWER 5 also have an IPX4 rating when positioned vertically with their port covers closed. Battery is rated at up to 30 hours for the ULT TOWER 7 and 20 hours for the ULT TOWER 5.
Partnership with Red Bull Dance Your Style
Sony will also an official wireless speaker partner for Red Bull Dance Your Style 2026 and will be participating in events which include the National Final USA in September and the World Final in Switzerland in October 2026.
Pricing and Availability
The Sony ULT TOWER MAX is priced at PHP 88,889, the ULT TOWER 7 at PHP 38,889, and the ULT TOWER 5 at PHP 22,229. All three are available at Sony Centres and authorized dealers nationwide.
Customers can earn 120,000 MySony points just by registering these new devices at MySony and getting Platinum membership until September 12, with members also getting access to the “Beyond the Beat,” the ULT POWER SOUND launch event happening on September 19 at Okada Manila.
