POCO has revealed that it will be introducing the POCO F9 series on September 1 via an online launch event. The company has also confirmed some of its features.
The launch comes just around 9 months after the introduction of its predecessor, the POCO F8 series.
POCO F9 Series – September 1 Launch
The POCO F9 Series is confirmed to feature Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 family chipsets. The series is headlined by the POCO F9 Ultra, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Which, according to the company, it scored a whopping 4,165,108 on the AnTuTu benchmark.
It is joined by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V series-powered POCO F9 Pro.
The devices also feature the all-new WildBoost Engine, designed to deliver smoother gameplay and more stable performance.
Other features include:
- Up to 185Hz AMOLED panel
- 8050mAh battery (only on the POCO F9 Ultra)
- 100W wired HyperCharge
- 50W wireless HyperCharge
- Sound by Bose
The POCO F9 Ultra also boasts an independent subwoofer around the back to back up the Sound by Bose speakers.
The company has also confirmed the two hero colors of the two devices – Dark Cherry on the POCO F9 Ultra and Aurora Green for the POCO F9 Pro.
