Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro series, launching next month, is set to deliver hardware upgrades alongside a steep price hike.
iPhone 18 Pro’s A20 Chipset
According to a new leak from tipster Fixed Focus Digital, the device will feature Apple’s A20 Pro chipset, built on TSMC’s cutting-edge 2nm Gate-All-Around (GAA) process. This advanced architecture reportedly translates to an 18% performance boost and a 30% reduction in power consumption compared to the A19 Pro.

However, these upgrades come with high manufacturing costs. Reports indicate the bill of materials (BOM) for the iPhone 18 Pro is estimated to jump by 40%. When combined with an ongoing global memory shortage, industry experts warn that the starting price for the upcoming flagship could reach USD 1,399.
