Epson has launched the SureColor V4000, adding to its SureColor V-Series. This UV flatbed printer targets businesses in Southeast Asia Pacific looking for customization, signage, and photo-quality applications. The SC-V4000 is Epson’s latest UV flatbed printer designed for businesses with higher production demands, capable of handling larger formats and thicker substrates up to 20cm. It supports A1+ print sizes and enables in-house production of signage, display graphics, and thicker media like phone cases, minimizing outsourcing needs. Following the SC-V7000, this printer offers a spacious print area, making it ideal for high-quality UV production in space-constrained settings.
Delivering high-quality output with expanded creative flexibility
To address increasing visual demands, the SC-V4000 features a 10-color UltraChrome UV ink set, enhancing color gamut and gradation while reducing graininess. It supports creative finishes like textured effects and layered printing on rigid substrates, and can achieve crisp 2-point text and fine line reproduction for detailed graphics and signage. The inclusion of white and varnish inks allows for added depth and unique surface effects, offering businesses differentiated output options.
Driving efficient throughput with simplified operation
As businesses increasingly handle custom jobs with shorter production runs, the SC-V4000 facilitates high throughput without added complexity. It offers print speeds of up to 4.6 square meters per hour and features a larger A1+ flatbed area, enabling the production of multiple items in a single run, thus enhancing efficiency and optimizing floor space utilization.
