Starbucks Philippines is retiring the automatic Star-redemption model and replacing it with a new loyalty system that allows members to choose exactly what they want to redeem. This will be rolled out starting July 21, 2026.

Starbucks Philippines – New Loyalty Rewards

The new rewards system introduces a new Multi-Tier to use your Stars. These are, namely:

  • 50 Stars – a free drink customization (excluding breve and 2 oz heavy cream) or a bagel, glazed or chocolate-dipped doughnut, or a slice of banana loaf
  • 100 Stars – any handcrafted beverage (excluding Coffee traveler Kit, French Press, or Reserve Ice Cream beverages) or a bakery item
  • 150 Stars – any pasta, sandwich, or a cake slice

This enhancement reflects a broader shift toward greater member choice and flexibility in loyalty programs. Previously, every 100 Stars automatically converted to a voucher redeemable for a free drink, bakery item, or cake slice.

With the new Multi-Tiered Rewards, members can now choose to redeem their Stars and enjoy access to a significantly wider range of rewards across the menu.

Additionally, an all-new Starbucks PH App will launch. The refresh, though, will require all members to migrate to a new Starbucks PH App, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, starting July 21, 2026. Although any available load balance will be carried automatically over the new app.

The new app enables faster sign-in and real-time Star tracking. But at launch, Mobile Order & Pay will be temporarily unavailable.

The Multi-Tiered Rewards and the new Starbucks PH App will go live on July 21, 2026, across all Starbucks Philippines stores nationwide. For more information, visit the official website.
