According to reports on Weibo, vivo and HONOR are said to be working on their respective wide foldable smartphones, similar to the form factor of the HUAWEI Pura X Max.

Weibo leakster reported on Weibo that the vivo X Fold 6 will have better crease performance. However, what’s more curious about the post from the leakster is the mention that all future models will feature a wider folding design.”
Note that he (she/they) specifically says future models, which seems pretty vague and doesn’t clearly reveal if there will be one this year. Or it could be lined up for next year.
Coincidentally, another Weibo leakster Guan Toxgxue GiM shared that HONOR has been working on a foldable with a wide form factor for a while now. His post also shared what looks like a render of what could be its design.
Unlike the HUAWEI Pura X Max, the HONOR foldable is wide but appears to use a clamshell design rather than a more traditional book-style design. It also has a triple camera system that runs horizontally across the top edge of the device.
Apple and Samsung are also expected to unveil their own take on the wide foldable form factor.
