Leaked renders of the Sony Xperia 1 VIII have surfaced, showcasing the device’s dimensions and physical profile. The latest leaks suggest that Sony is sticking to its signature aesthetic while refining the handset’s footprint.

The Xperia 1 VIII is said to measure approximately 163.3 x 68.0 x 8.4 mm. This means a slightly taller and narrower build compared to its predecessor. The thickness increases marginally to 9.4 mm when accounting for the rear camera bump.

Moreover, the renders showcase a familiar 6.5-inch flat display, notably placing notches or punch-holes in favor of slim top and bottom bezels to house the front-facing camera and stereo speakers. Fans of the older features will be happy to see the retention of the 3.5mm headphone jack on the top frame and a dedicated shutter button on the side.
The vertical triple-camera island remains a focal point, though specific sensor upgrades have yet to be confirmed. The device is also expected to house a side-mounted fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button.

An official announcement from Sony is expected in the coming months, so stay tuned for more updates.
