realme has officially taken the wraps off the realme 16 Series 5G in the Philippines. The new series is headlined by the realme 16 Pro+ 5G, and it is joined by the realme 16 Pro 5G and realme 16 5G.
The lineup is focused on improved photography, longer battery life, and smarter AI features.

The biggest highlight of the realme 16 Series 5G is in the two Pro models with the 200MP Multi-focal LumaColor Camera System. It is designed for detailed shots across different focal lengths.
The realme 16 Pro+ 5G adds a 50MP 3.5x telephoto lens, making it more versatile for portraits and zoom photography.
For a more accessible option, the realme 16 5G features a dual 50MP portrait camera system with a Sony IMX852 main sensor.
The realme 16 Series 5G is also equipped with AI tools like AI Edit Genie 2.0, AI Instant Clip, and AI Portrait Glow. There are also features like Vibe Master Mode and AI Photo Popout, if you want a bit more personality in your shots.
All three devices of the realme 16 Series 5G are equipped with a 7000mAh battery for extended daily use. The Pro devices also back this up with support for 80W SUPERVOOC charging, while the realme 16 5G tones this down to 60W SUPERVOOC charging.
The realme 16 Pro+ 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, while the realme 16 Pro 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max. Both are kept cool by an Airflow Vapor Chamber Cooling System. Meanwhile, the realme 16 5G uses the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo.
The Pro devices use 144Hz 1.5K AMOLED panels with a peak brightness of 6,500nits. The realme 16 5G, on the other hand, has a more compact design built around a 6.57-inch 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED. The entire series also boasts IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings.
