Qualcomm is reportedly preparing to launch its next-generation flagship processors in a tiered “Standard” and “Pro” structure. The upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series is said to be spearheaded by a premium “Pro” variant (model SM8975) designed for flagships.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Series
Built on TSMC’s cutting-edge 2nm “N2P” process, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro is rumored to push mobile boundaries with CPU clock speeds potentially hitting a staggering 5.0GHz. The Pro model is expected to feature a 2+3+3 Oryon CPU architecture and a powerful Adreno 850 GPU. Additional upgrades include exclusive support for next-gen LPDDR6 memory and UFS 5.0 storage.
