AYANEO has officially announced the suspension of its Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered Pocket Fit 8 handheld. The decision comes as the global shortage of RAM and storage drives up production costs.
AYANEO Halts Pocket Fit 8 Production
The Pocket Fit 8 Elite, which features Qualcomm’s flagship chipset, has been plagued by months of supply chain delays. While the company promised that all existing pre-orders would be fulfilled, it stated that future manufacturing is no longer viable at its current retail price. Following a final limited restock of remaining inventory, production of the device will cease entirely.
The company has also halted production of its other models, such as the Pocket Vert and Pocket S Mini lineups, and the flagship Next 2 Windows handheld, due to high production costs.

AYANEO has pledged to maintain after-sales support and spare parts for current owners, but for everyone else, the upcoming restock represents the final opportunity to own the device.
