Apple has officially unveiled the iPhone 17e, the latest addition to its smartphone lineup, made to deliver premium performance at a more accessible price point.
Apple Debuts iPhone 17e
The iPhone 17e now starts with 256GB of storage, twice the capacity of its predecessor. Under the hood, the device is powered by the new A19 chip, which features a 6-core CPU and 16-core Neural Engine, bringing enhanced speed and efficiency to everyday tasks and Apple Intelligence features.

The iPhone 17e also sees the long-awaited arrival of MagSafe, enabling a vast ecosystem of magnetic accessories and faster wireless charging up to 15W. Connectivity receives a major boost via the Apple-designed C1X cellular modem, which the company claims is up to twice as fast and more power-efficient than previous generations.
Durability and display quality have been prioritized with a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display featuring “Ceramic Shield 2.” This new glass provides three times better scratch resistance and reduced glare compared to the prior model. The camera system has also been refined, utilizing a 48MP Fusion lens that enables an optical-quality 2x Telephoto zoom and next-generation portraits with improved depth control.

Available in black, white, and a new soft pink matte finish, the iPhone 17e will be available for pre-order starting Wednesday, March 4. Units will begin arriving in stores and to customers on Wednesday, March 11.
