HONOR is reportedly working on a compact device; however, many of its details, such as its official name and specs, have yet to be announced. Leakster Digital Chat Station, though, has shared key specifications of the device and its color variants.
HONOR – Codename Lindy
The device, allegedly codenamed Lindy or widely reported as the HONOR Magic8 Slim or Magic8 Mini. According to the report, it will feature a 6.3-inch flat display with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. A previous rumor mentioned that this is a 1.5K LTPO OLED panel.
Going back to the leak from Digital Chat Station, the compact device is said to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500, have decent imaging capabilities, and have a metal frame.
The device is also said to be offered in Shadow Black, Fether White, Light Orange, and Fairy Purple color options. Lastly, it is said that the device is ready with development and launch underway.
Previous reports claim that the compact smartphone will only be 5 to 6mm thin despite a 5500mAh battery and is expected to have a periscope telephoto camera.
HONOR has yet to reveal this device, but the details from Digital Chat Station seem very specific and could be accurate. It’s uncertain when it will launch, especially since there have been no official mentions of it yet.
