Quoting an announcement from the Android team, the post stated, “Can’t wait for people to use this once enabled on Snapdragon in the near future.”

This confirmation is a significant development for the Android platform, ensuring that the feature will not remain exclusive to Google’s in-house processors. While Qualcomm did not provide an exact timeline, the “near future” comment suggests a relatively quick rollout is planned.

Quick Share-to-AirDrop functionality is likely to be introduced on upcoming MediaTek and Samsung Exynos devices, aiming for a more unified mobile file-sharing experience. This feature may extend to other Quick Share-compatible devices like tablets and Chromebooks.
